Since 1957, the Charco Broiler has served its customers terrific food at reasonable prices. The Charco Broiler has been voted and awarded the “best steak” in town for many years running.
The Charco Broiler opened in the fall of 1957 with just the coffee shop and front kitchen area. There were nine booths and a counter which seated 14 people. After eleven additions and eight remodels, the Charco Broiler has grown to a seating capacity of over 250 people, serving high quality steaks, seafood, hamburgers, salads and desserts. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a very unique, casual comfortable atmosphere.
Our restaurant has about 75 employees, many who have been with us for over 25 years. One of the cooks has been here for over 46 years and counting. Presently we have three generations of our family all working together. We are proud to be a family-owned business, pretty rare these days.
We make all our own soups, cut our own steaks, bake our pies fresh every day and we serve real mashed potatoes. We still serve the best cream pies anywhere. We strive to provide you with the highest quality food products available, cooked to order, the way you like it. Our staff is happy to see you and serve you. We do our best to make your dining experience a good one every time.
